2 Suits

Make room for hearts as the familiar one-suit puzzle grows. Another look at the layout can be part of the pleasure.

Select a face-up card, then a destination column. Dragging also works.

Meet two-suit Spider

The key details are straightforward. The two-suit layout begins with ten columns and fifty cards in the stock. You still need eight complete same-suit runs to finish the game. This mode uses 104 cards divided between spades and hearts. Each rank appears four times in each suit.

Build a descending column

Check both rank and suit before trying to move several cards together. A six of hearts can therefore sit on a seven of spades. A card may land on an exposed card exactly one rank higher, regardless of suit. A mixed-suit build does not become a movable group merely because its ranks descend.

Move a group

The key details are straightforward. You can select the first card of that group to move every card below it. A suit change inside the selected cards stops the group from moving together. A movable group is a face-up descending sequence containing only one suit. You may still move a smaller same-suit segment from the bottom of the column.

Collect matching sequences

Keep these details in mind. Both suits contribute to the total of eight runs needed to win. A complete sequence must run from King to Ace in one suit. A red-and-black King-to-Ace column does not count as a completed run. The game removes a qualifying sequence automatically and updates the run counter.

Separate mixed builds

On this website, the following points apply. An empty column can hold one segment while you reconnect the remaining cards. Matching suits often reduces the number of individual moves needed later. A temporary mixed-suit move can expose a hidden card or release an empty column. Plan how you might separate that mixed build before extending it further.

Use a spare column

Here is what to know. You can sometimes return a shorter segment to its original column after exposing a useful card. Any legal movable group can occupy an empty column. Moving a King into a spare column can make space, but the King cannot later land on another rank. Fill every empty column before requesting another stock deal.

Add ten new cards

Here is what to know. Five such deals are available at the beginning of the game. Review exposed moves and empty-column plans before using the stock. Each stock deal adds one face-up card to every column. The new cards can create matching suit connections or block existing ones.

Learn with undo

On this website, the following points apply. Use Replay if you want to restart the same shuffled deal from the beginning. The timer is not rewound when you undo. Undo can reverse a stock deal as well as a normal card move. Undo also restores cards that were turned over or collected by the reversed action.

A steadier approach

Here is what to know. Keeping several short matching runs can be easier to manage than one long mixed run. One-suit experience helps with rank order, but two suits adds a separate suit constraint for group movement. A suggested move is a possibility to investigate rather than a guaranteed route to victory. Revealing hidden cards gradually broadens your choices.

Resume this difficulty

New game replaces the current two-suit deal with a fresh shuffle. Two-suit progress is stored separately from one-suit and four-suit progress in this browser. The game can still run for the current visit when browser storage is unavailable. Turning off local saving removes stored game progress and statistics on this domain.
